The staff of Buswell Funeral Home is trained and experienced in handling final
arrangements for both traditional funerals as well as cremation oriented services.
As such, the Buswell Funeral Home has a working relationship with all area clergy
persons, churches, health care professionals, restaurants, catering services,
florists, musicians, fraternal and military organizations, hairdressers, barbers,
cemeteries and crematories.
The staff is well versed in assisting those families who have only a vague
sense of direction following the death of a loved one. They are accustomed to
the question, "Where do we go from here?" Time proven suggestions are
readily given and seemingly insurmountable problems are thereby resolved. At the
Buswell Funeral Home, the wishes of each family are given prompt and courteous
attention. No request is considered to be insignificant.
The Buswell Funeral Home is committed to a policy of timely completion and
filing of the many permits and reports that accompany each death, such as the
death certificate and notification of the Social Security Administration. Each
family is also advised and assisted with the filing for various benefits such
as those provided by life insurance, unions, retirement programs, and the Veterans
and Social Security Administrations.
Ruth Buswell is in charge of the firm's ongoing after-care/grief therapy program.
Through the use of printed materials and visual aides, each family is guided through
the grief recovery process. Ruth has a variety of materials available as
well as personal observations and suggestions. The Buswell Funeral Home subscribes
to the services of the nationally recognized After Loss program.
Both Charles and Ruth Buswell have completed many seminars related to the
funeral profession. Charles Buswell has also successfully completed post-graduate
courses in embalming, cosmetics, and restorative procedures. The Buswells are
firm believers in continuing education in an ongoing commitment to better serve
others.
